Welcome to my personal website !

Hi there !

I’m currently a postdoctoral researcher in the « Laboratoire d’Informatique pour la Mécanique et les Sciences de l’Ingénieur » LIMSI/CNRS lab (Paris, France) working on acoustic scene analysis and sound event detection within the TLP group.

From 2013 to 2017, I pursued a PhD degree in computer science working under the supervision of Dr. Driss Matrouf in the LIA laboratory (University of Avignon, France). During my PhD, my research was focused on i-vector-based speaker recognition. I’ve been mainly working on the « additive noise » problem for speaker recognition tasks on NIST SRE corpora. In 2016, I have participated in both the SITW challenge (Speakers In The Wild) supported by SRI and the NIST SRE 2016 evaluation within the LIA team.

I graduated in 2013 with an Engineering degree in Computer Science from the « National School of Computer Science » ENSI (University of Manouba, Tunisia), specializing in « Intelligent systems engineering and decision making ».

I have also given various courses in computer science (tutorials and practical works) in the CERI department of the univesity of Avignon.
